The apartment had a cozy and homely feel, making it hard to leave in the morning. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfortable atmosphere. the location was fantastic, just a short stroll away from major attractions like the castle. Plus, the complimentary ice cream was a lovely touch to enjoy after a day of exploring the city.
Communication via email was a bit impersonal and automated, making it difficult to ask questions. However, the staff was very helpful when we called.

Our stay at the Crichton Apartment By National Trust Scotland was truly memorable. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were immersed in history. The apartment was beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of modern comforts and historical charm. The quirky design on the walls and the poems on the window added a special touch. Despite its central location, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to have a peaceful and relaxed stay. We also appreciated the complimentary ice cream, a delightful treat after exploring the nearby historical sites. The high-quality fittings and furnishings made our stay even more comfortable. And of course, the location was fantastic, just a short stroll away from the castle and surrounded by fascinating history. our experience at the Crichton Apartment exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable stay in Edinburgh.
While our stay was mostly perfect, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The bathroom sink was quite small, which made it a bit challenging to use.

Stayed in a time-traveling apartment, complete with modern conveniences. Quirky decor and peaceful atmosphere, except for the challenging communication via email. Such fun!
Oh, how I loved the stiff towels, lacking in fluffy softness. Such a treat for my delicate skin.
